“Bonsai Tree/Tree of Life Pendant”! - A Wire Jewelry Creation with Kelley Pounds $45
“Celebrate spring and summer by creating your own Bonsai Tree/Tree of Life Pendant. Using copper wire and a variety of chip beads, you will create your own one-of-a kind pendant. And just like real trees, it is guaranteed no two tree pendants will be exactly alike! Beads to Beauty will provide a variety of colored chip beads, and Kelley Pounds will provide the wire and step-by-step instructions, complete with pictures, in a handout you can take home for later use so you can create more pendants.”
“Cages and Cabochons” - with Kelley Pounds $45
“When you think of wire-wrap jewelry, chances are you envision wire cages and cabochons. In this lesson you will begin with the cage wrap of a freeform polished stone and progress to the more complicated wrapping of an oval cabochon. In the process you will also learn how to give these traditional wire wrapping techniques your own unique twist using bead embellishments. Materials include square practice wire, two freeform polished stones, and a 30 X 40 cabochon.”

In this introductory class on wire ring making, learn how to construct three different types of rings: the hammer scroll ring (adjustable and non-adjustable types); the simple and classic Etruscan swirl ring; and the ever-popular one-bead ring, along with tips to make your own unique variations. Kelley will provide examples of rings that incorporate variations on these three techniques so that your eyes will be opened to the mystery of even more complicated wire ring construction. Wire and beads will be provided in this class.
“Kaleidoscope Cane Beads” - with Kelley Pounds $45
Polymer clay kaleidoscope beads are some of the prettiest of polymer clay beads, with complex designs that at first glance seem far too complicated for the beginner. But in this class the process will be de-mystified! You will learn how to create the simplest of polymer clay canes so that you can turn your humble polymer clay beads into mirror design masterpieces.

“Three Ring Circus” $45
In this introductory class on wire ring making, learn how to construct three different types of rings: the hammer scroll ring (adjustable and non-adjustable types); the simple and classic Etruscan swirl ring; and the ever-popular one-bead ring, along with tips to make your own unique variations. Kelley will provide examples of rings that incorporate variations on these three techniques so that your eyes will be opened to the mystery of even more complicated wire ring construction. Wire and beads will be provided in this class.
“Embellished Focal Bead Pendants” $45
Learn to turn large stone, lampwork glass, or polymer clay beads into one-of-a-kind embellished pendants using wire, seed beads, charms, pearls or small stone beads. In this class you will also learn how to create your own coiled ends and S clasps for use with leather, silk, ribbon or silky “rat-tail” cord—the perfect way to finish your unique new pendant creations. One lampwork glass heart, one polymer clay focal bead, two 18” lengths of black rat-tail cord, and wire to complete two embellished focal bead pendants, included.
“Redefining Resin” - with Heather Kingsmore NEW $45
With resin the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. In this class you will learn how to use Resin and how to turn any item into a focal piece of jewelry. Please note: the pieces you make in this class will not be ready for pick up until the following day! Resin, use of molds, materials and tools provided in class.

“Bead and Wire Magic” $45
Transform simple wire and beads into unique jewelry creations! In this class you will learn to fashion your own pierced ear wires, headpins for earrings, a link bracelet or necklace, and your own hook and eye clasp. The skills you learn today will serve as the building blocks for future lessons and more complex and inventive jewelry creations. Beads to Beauty will provide some beads, and Kelley will provide the wire and step-by-step instructions, complete with pictures, in a handout you can take home for later use.
“Lucky Charms: Celtic Knot Earrings and Pendant” $45
Celebrate Spring this year by learning the tricks and treats of creating your own lucky charms—Celtic knot earrings and pendants using wire and beads. In this class you will learn how to create a variation of the decorative “Carrick bend” knot. This strong knot was used by sailors, but it can also be found as a design motif at Ormonde Castle in Ireland. First you will practice making your knot with dyed hemp cord, then you will translate what you learn to copper wire and beads in order to make a pair of earrings or a pendant. Cord, wire and beads will be provided.
“Art Nouveau Copper Beaded Bangle” $45
The Art Nouveau style exemplifies flowing, curving lines and patterns characterized by floral and plant-inspired motifs. This simple but elegant copper wire bangle bracelet features copper wire patterned with oak leaves and acorns framed by scallops of copper wire embellished with beads. The techniques taught in this class are easily adaptable to other wire projects. This class includes all supplies needed to complete one bracelet that would have a retail value of at least $30. You will receive a fully illustrated step-by-step tutorial and enough extra wire to complete a second bracelet at home.
“Beads to Beauty ~ Getting the most out of your beads” NEW $65 ~ 3 hour class
One of the best ways to be profitable, is to use all of your inventory. Regardless if beading is a hobby, a part time business or a full time passion, you will learn how to make the most of it! In this class I will teach you how to take 6 common items/techniques to transform your leftover beads into full necklaces. I will also share what 5 staple items to always have on hand! The tips you learn in this class will not only strengthen your creativity but will save you a bundle! Everything is provided in the class.
