In this introductory class on wire ring making, learn how to construct three different types of rings: the hammer scroll ring (adjustable and non-adjustable types); the simple and classic Etruscan swirl ring; and the ever-popular one-bead ring, along with tips to make your own unique variations. Kelley will provide examples of rings that incorporate variations on these three techniques so that your eyes will be opened to the mystery of even more complicated wire ring construction. Wire and beads will be provided in this class.

“Embellished Focal Bead Pendants” $45
Learn to turn large stone, lampwork glass, or polymer clay beads into one-of-a-kind embellished pendants using wire, seed beads, charms, pearls or small stone beads. In this class you will also learn how to create your own coiled ends and S clasps for use with leather, silk, ribbon or silky “rat-tail” cord—the perfect way to finish your unique new pendant creations. One lampwork glass heart, one polymer clay focal bead, two 18” lengths of black rat-tail cord, and wire to complete two embellished focal bead pendants, included.

“Redefining Resin” - with Heather Kingsmore NEW $45
With resin the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. In this class you will learn how to use Resin and how to turn any item into a focal piece of jewelry. Please note: the pieces you make in this class will not be ready for pick up until the following day! Resin, use of molds, materials and tools provided in class.

“Cages and Cabochons” - with Kelley Pounds $45
When you think of wire-wrap jewelry, chances are you envision wire cages and cabochons. In this lesson you will begin with the cage wrap of a freeform polished stone and progress to the more complicated wrapping of an oval cabochon. In the process you will also learn how to give these traditional wire wrapping techniques your own unique twist using bead embellishments. Materials include square practice wire,
one freeform polished stone, one clear freeform glass cab, and a 22 X 30 cabochon.

“Bonsai Tree/Tree of Life Pendant” $40
“Celebrate spring and summer by creating your own Bonsai Tree/Tree of Life Pendant. Using copper wire and a variety of chip beads, you will create your own one-of-a kind pendant. And just like real trees, it is guaranteed no two tree pendants will be exactly alike! Beads to Beauty will provide a variety of colored chip beads, and Kelley Pounds will provide the wire and step-by-step instructions, complete with pictures, in a handout you can take home for later use so you can create more pendants.”

“Wired Teardrop Pendant” NEW $40
In this class you will learn how to take a basic wire frame and turn it into endless possibilities. By using a variety of beads you will never have to worry about not having a matching pendant again. You will make a pendant in the class and an earring sample. Instructions, beads, wire and tools will be provided.
