"Cosmic Canyon"


For those of you that have taken a class with us, there's a good chance you have had Kelley Pounds as your instructor. She is very talented and makes very beautiful wire wrapped and polymer clay pieces. Many of you love her work so it's no surprise that she won 2nd place in a Beading Daily contest! For any of her "followers" here is a little information about the contest.

Author/designer Ronna Sarvas Weltman and Jewelry Artist editor-in-chief Merle White chose the two winning pieces. The two winners will be featured on Beading Daily (circulation: 90,000) in late June.

    Thanks for the nice write up and the congrats, Heather! I'm pretty excited to have placed in this contest. Now I'm working on another contest piece with a mystery element I can't reveal until July 18. Now if I can jut get that watercolor paint to dry! I'm incorporating some watercolor artwork in the piece--that much I can tell you without having to kill you. Ha! ;)
